The answer in 30 seconds
-
Main stats
Weapon Attack, helmet Health, armor Defense; the other three vary.
-
Grades
Normal to Epic: 0 to 4 substats at +0.
-
+15
A substat is added or raised every 3 levels.
-
Substat change
At +15, swap a substat.
-
Steel Workshop
Hunt materials give their own sets; the set is drawn at random.
-
Artifacts
The same artifact as ingredient: up to level 30.
Six slots, their main stats
-
Weapon
Attack -
Helmet
Health -
Armor

Necklace
Critical Hit Chance
Critical Hit Damage -

Speed
Necklaces, rings and boots have no set main stat; the stats under them are main stats on that slot only.
Grades and substats
- 0 Normal
- 1 Good
- 2 Rare
- 3 Heroic
- 4 Epic
substats at +0
At +15, every grade ends with the same number of substats.
Enhancing to +15
- Enhance with talismans of the gear's type.
- Selling gear gives Enhancement Powder, a lower talisman.
- More for a higher grade or enhancement.
- The main stat rises at every level.
- Every 3 levels, a substat is added or raised: five chances up to +15.
- Once a piece has four substats, one of them, at random, gets the raise.
- You can enhance several pieces at once: the talismans are picked for you and their XP is shared out.
- Each piece gets its own chance at a better result.
- XP left over on a maxed piece comes back as Enhancement Powder.
- +3
- +6
- +9
- +12
- +15
Level and substat change
- Each piece has a level that enhancing never changes.
- A higher level means better stats, and higher enhancing and removal costs.
- At +15, the Enhance button becomes Substat change: pick a substat, then the ingredient.
- The new value depends on how far that substat was raised and on the ingredient's level.
- The same stat again never comes back lower.
Crafting and the Hunts
- Gear crafted at the Steel Workshop has better stats than gear from the Episode and the labyrinths.
- The materials come from Hunt. The set is drawn at random when you craft, among the sets of the material used.
- Vouivre materials
Set Critique
Set Coup
Set Vitesse - Golem materials
Set Attaque
Set Santé
Set Défense
Set Protection - Banshie materials
Set Résistance
Set Destruction
Set Vol de vie
Set Contre - Azimanak materials
Set Unité
Set Immunité
Set Rage - Caides materials
Set Vengeance
Set Blessure
Set Infiltration
Set Tumulte
Artifacts
- Artifacts are enhanced with talismans too; their skill effect grows every 3 levels.
- They gain no substats.
- Using the same artifact as an ingredient lets it reach level 30, where its effects can double.
The gear manager
- Try gear on a hero before you commit: the stat changes and set effects show first.
- Filter by set (with how many pieces you own) and by stats: one main stat and up to 4 substats.
- Recommended gear ranks your pieces by the sets and main stats you choose.
- And by the stat weights you set.
- Exclude pieces you are trying from the search: they are no longer recommended until you leave the screen.
